Our area of benefit is The Ancient Parish of Rotherhithe, in the London Borough of Southwark. A map of our area of benefit is below.

The Ancient Parish of Rotherhithe is geographically the area that lies to the East of West Lane and to the East of Galleywall Road, in the London Borough of Southwark, and includes all of Rotherhithe, Canada Water and Surrey Quays (or Surrey Docks). 

Electorally, the area comprises all of Rotherhithe ward and Surrey Docks ward, and small parts of North Bermondsey, South Bermondsey, and Old Kent Road wards in the London Borough of Southwark.

Our Team

Lorraine Zuleta
Chair


Lorraine has been a Trustee of Rotherhithe Consolidated Charities since 2018 and Chair since 2020. She has been a Trustee and Non-Executive Director of several local and national charitable organisations over the last 16 years, helping overcome some challenging financial and/or people situations and others to modernise and grow to enable them to respond to the needs of the service users and community.

She was a Councillor in Southwark (2002-2010) and is now an Honorary Alderman.
Lorraine is bilingual in Spanish and English and holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Sussex and a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching from Henley Business School. Lorraine was awarded Trustee of the Year at the Southwark Stars Awards event in May 2023. 

Ailar Hashemzadeh
Trustee


Ailar was raised in South East London and moved to Rotherhithe in 2014. She has been on the board since 2021. She has worked for several major national charities, leading their campaigning work with politicians. Ailar has a degree in Political Science and a Masters in International Development.

Michaela Crawley
Trustee


Michaela has lived in Southwark all of her life, and in Rotherhithe for the past 27 years. She was a Civil Servant for 26 years and then moved to Southwark Council's local support team, where she works with vulnerable customers. She is passionate about improving the lives of Southwark residents. Michaela is active in the community and a champion for disability rights rights as she has a daughter with a learning disability. She was a fundraiser for a charity called Down's South that supports children with Down's syndrome.

Michaela was a governor at Cherry Garden School where her daughter attended for 5 years and also at St Joseph's School, Gomm Road.

Matt is the Clerk to the Trustees of Rotherhithe Consolidated Charities. He is also the Grants Manager at Southwark Charities which supports organisations that improve the wellbeing of Southwark's older residents, aged 55 plus, and provides genuinely affordable almshouse accommodation for Southwark's older residents.
